Weeks 1–3 · Prep
What goes on before base, and what doesn't.
Four programs of 8 to 12 weeks, taught on your own face and your own products.
Base is where makeup goes wrong most visibly. We work on prep, matching shade and undertone in daylight rather than store lighting, applying thin layers, and setting only where you need it — which is rarely the whole face.
What goes on before base, and what doesn't.
Shade and undertone, checked in daylight.
Thin layers, blended edges.
Where powder helps and where it ages you.
Shape, fill and stopping in time.
Placement for your eye shape.
A line that survives a blink.
The routine you'll actually do.
Hooded, downturned, deep set — eye shape changes where shadow and liner should sit, and most tutorials ignore it entirely. We work on your shape, on brows that frame rather than dominate, and on a look you can repeat half-asleep.
Most people own several colors that fight their skin and one they wear every day. We work out your undertone, build a palette from it, and go through your existing collection honestly — keeping what works and retiring what doesn't.
Working it out properly, in daylight.
Colors that lift rather than flatten.
A small palette that covers everything.
What to keep, what to stop repurchasing.
Prep and products that hold for twelve hours.
What the camera changes.
Built, photographed and adjusted.
Timing, touch-ups and a backup plan.
Makeup that looks right in the mirror can look grey on camera or slide off by nine o'clock. We cover longwear technique, what flash does, what video lighting does, and a touch-up kit that fits in a small bag.
